E-BIKE - FR BLANKET FOR ELECTRIC BIKE
FIRE BLANKET FOR ELECTRIC BATTERIES AND GASOLINE MOTORCYCLES
The fire-resistant blanket for electric motorcycles, E-BIKE, has been developed to contain flames, sparks and deflagrations that occur in fires, both in electric batteries and combustion engines. It is also capable of containing smoke and the impact of materials resulting from lithium cell explosions. The E-BIKE blanket is made of a fiberglass fabric coated with a special high-temperature polymer on both sides.
With dimensions of 6x4 meters and weighing approximately 12 kg, this blanket incorporates four handles, one at each corner, facilitating its manipulation and placement over the motorcycle in case of a fire. The participation of at least two people is recommended to ensure a safe intervention in emergency situations.
It is important to note that the fire-resistant blanket for electric motorcycles can be used whether the motorcycle is in an upright position or on the ground. In both cases, it can be used safely and provides the same fire protection. To enhance secure transport and storage, the fire-resistant blanket for electric batteries includes a waterproof carry bag with a hermetic seal and handles.
The main function of this electric battery fire blanket is to contain flames to ensure personal safety and minimize collateral damage in enclosed spaces. Its use offers numerous advantages compared to other systems such as fire extinguishers or water hoses:
- No need for a water supply.
- No expiry date.
- No fire training is required.
- Unlike fire extinguishers, it does not generate suspended particles or residues on surfaces.
- Facilitates the work of the fire brigade.
