FLAME RETARDANT NECK GAITER
FIRE RESISTANT NECK GAITER EPI CAT II
The Texfire fire resistant neck gaiter is engineered to shield the neck and face from sparks or other heat and flame sources while also providing protection against cold and wind, thus fulfilling the general requirements of protective clothing and achieving certification as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) CAT II.
Crafted from MARKO knit fabric, a soft, elastic, breathable, and antistatic technical fabric, it offers enhanced protection and comfort to workers. Its blend of cotton fibers and inherent flame-resistant fibers ensures consistent flame retardant properties throughout its lifespan, unaffected by usage or washing.
This flame-resistant welding neck gaiter can be worn in various configurations depending on the area of the head requiring protection:
- As a gaiter to safeguard the neck and mouth.
- In a balaclava position, covering both the neck and head.
- In a bandana shape, providing coverage to the top of the head.
Designed and tailored to provide greater protection to various professional sectors such as welders, firefighters, security personnel, electricians, foundry workers, or during metal cutting operations, etc.
Certified as CAT II PPE with European CE marking, it exceeds the standards of EN ISO 13688 - General requirements for protective clothing - and EN ISO 14116 - Protective clothing against flame and limited flame spread. Additionally, it adheres to the OKEOTEX sustainability standard.
