ARAMID FABRIC

Texfire’s regenerated aramid fabrics provide thermal protection in highly demanding environments. These fabrics are made from recycled aramid fibre, which has undergone a re-spinning and weaving process to achieve a sustainable and circular solution. Para-aramid fibre stands out for its high thermal and mechanical resistance. Flame-retardant fabrics made with regenerated para-aramid fibres are ideal for making personal protective equipment (PPE) and industrial coverings, maintaining their flame-retardant properties throughout their entire service life.

These fabrics are also characterised by their remarkable resistance to abrasion and cutting, and they are very flexible and offer long-lasting durability. Under normal conditions, they withstand continuous temperatures of up to 200ºC and peaks of up to 400ºC, making them perfect for applications requiring robust and durable protection. The collection includes a recycled para-aramid fabric with an aluminised coating, providing an effective barrier against intense thermal radiation and molten metal splashes.
