TEXTILE THERMAL INSULATING CALORIFUGES FOR GLOBE VALVES

Texfire's textile calorifuges for globe valves are multilayer solutions designed for the thermal insulation of valves operating in temperature ranges between 100°C and 400°C. They can be used both indoors and outdoors.

These calorifuges are designed to minimize heat loss, protect personnel from potential burns, and improve the energy efficiency of circuits. Performance optimization leads to economic savings and also the reduction of the carbon footprint.
The calorifuges are composed of three layers of flame-retardant technical fabrics:

• Outer layer: Waterproof fabric that provides protection against weather or other external agents.
• Intermediate layer: Acts as a thermal insulation barrier.
• Inner layer: Two types of fabric are used depending on the valve's temperature range: for temperatures up to 180°C or in applications reaching up to 400°C.

The components used in Texfire's calorifuges are also flame-retardant and of the highest quality. The flame-retardant thread reinforced with steel ensures great mechanical strength and thermal stability under extreme conditions. The flame-retardant Velcro allows for a secure closure, while the flame-retardant cord ensures a precise fit at the ends of the calorifuge.

The textile insulation covers the valves from flange to flange, and the manufacturing department also offers the option to customize solutions to the specific measurements and thermal needs of each client.

The calorifuges comply with the most prominent safety and flame-retardant standards, such as EN ISO 11612 for protection against heat and flame, and EN 13501 for fire resistance classification in construction materials.
