FIRE RESISTANT ANTI-STATIC BALACLAVA
FIRE RESISTANT ANTI-STATIC BALACLAVA EPI CAT II BLACK COLOR
This fire resistant anti-static balaclava, crafted from breathable and lightweight MARKO P270 fabric by Marina Textil, offers exceptional skin comfort. Providing protection against cold, heat, flames, and any sparks or incandescent metal particles, it incorporates anti-static fibers to prevent electrostatic charges.
Its design, featuring an eye opening, ensures full coverage of the head, face, and neck, delivering a remarkably cozy warmth. The balaclava snugly fits the head due to the elasticity of its fire resistant fabric. Specifically designed to be wider around the neck area and nearly seam-free, it can be comfortably worn under a protective helmet without causing any discomfort.
This garment is CE marked for European conformity, classified as EPI CAT II, meeting the standards of EN ISO 13688 - Protective clothing, general requirements - and EN ISO 11612 - Protective clothing for workers exposed to heat and flames - with A1 result in limited flame spread, B1 in convective heat, and C1 in radiant heat. It also exceeds the requirements of EN 1149-5 – Electrostatic properties of protective clothing.
This fire-resistant balaclava, besides being used by workers exposed to heat and flames, is also recommended for welders, rescue teams, emergency brigades, firefighters, police officers, military pilots, race car drivers, and anyone in need of fire-resistant head protection, ensuring that the PPE meets the aforementioned standards.
