Texfire obtains new technical certifications and tests its products in specialised laboratories

Recently, Texfire has obtained new technical certifications and carried out tests on key products from its catalogue, thanks to the support of the 2025 International Certification Aid Scheme by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).

Among the achievements obtained are the certification DIN SPEC 91489 for the fire blanket for car fires and the PRO fire blanket for car fires, IP65 degree of protection for the storage bag, certification of welding curtains according to ISO 25980 standard point 4.3, and cut resistance to sharp objects according to EN ISO 13997:1999. Also validated were flammability according to FMVSS302:2023, reaction to fire according to EN 1094-6, and the performance of construction materials in compliance with EN 13501-1. In addition, functionality tests of containment blankets were carried out at the FAST facilities (Barcelona).

These certifications and tests will allow Texfire to strengthen its position in international markets and ensure the highest level of quality and safety in its technical solutions. The aid was financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, with the support of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and PRTR funds.
