Lithium Battery Fire Training

Texfire recently took part in a training session on initial measures in the event of lithium battery fires, an increasingly common issue in both public and private spaces.

TRAINING ON LITHIUM BATTERY FIRES WITH SECURITY FORCES

The session, held in Parets del Vallès, was conducted by MD FORMACIÓ, a company specialising in safety. This training enabled attendees to gain first-hand knowledge of protocols for dealing with lithium battery fires, a type of fire that is particularly difficult to extinguish and requires specific containment and safety measures.

The event was especially aimed at officers from various local police stations, with the goal of enhancing response capabilities to incidents caused by lithium batteries. The session covered technical aspects, preventive measures, and rapid response protocols in the event of a fire.
