FLEXIBLE AND RESISTANT FLAME RETARDANT SEAM - ROLL 200 m

Texfire’s flame retardant seam is composed by an external mono-braided of flame retardant black polyester and flame retardant para-aramid fibres (kevlar) in the interior. It has been developed to work in environments with high temperatures, being able to resist up to 400ºC. Its para-aramid fibres confer it a great mechanical resistance, being able to withstand tensions up to 430 kg without flattening. Also, the external braiding provides it an extra protection, resulting in a very flexible flame retardant seam with great resistance to abrasion and cut.

This flame retardant seam has a thickness of 6 mm and contains an anti-rotating system that avoids greatly that it becomes entangled. Each roll contains 200 meters of seam and weighs 4 kg. It is a roll of 200 m.

This flame retardant polyester seam for high temperatures is perfect for a wide range of technical textile applications where it can be exposed to high temperatures, fire or flames, and also, all those that require from mechanical stress. It is widely used to tailoring and closures of thermal cases, laggings, etc. In addition, it can be used for closures in garments that protect from high temperatures and fire, as well as in uniforms for firefighters and safety services.

This flame retardant seam has been tested and meets regulation UNE EN 13773 – Behaviour in front of fire of textile products – with a CLASS 1 result.
