In foundries, work is carried out under extreme conditions, and the different work areas require highly specialized solutions: melting furnaces, casting lines, electrolytic baths, rolling mills, etc. The fabrics for foundries that we can find are the following:
- Marlan Plus 300P fabric: Offers high protection in foundries with a lightweight fabric weight. Its fiber blend provides thermal insulation and prevents molten metal from adhering, a common issue with synthetic fabrics. Additionally, it is soft, breathable, and comfortable, combining safety and comfort in demanding industrial applications.
- Marlan 365 fabric: It is a permanent flame-resistant fabric designed to protect against aluminum splashes, cryolite, and molten metals such as iron, steel, copper, or magnesium. It complies with European standards for fire and electric arc protection. Its flame-resistant fibers prevent metals from adhering, preventing severe burns on the skin.
