FABRIC SAMPLES FOR FOUNDRIES
Ref:
In foundries, work is carried out under extreme conditions, and the different work areas require highly specialized solutions: melting furnaces, casting lines, electrolytic baths, rolling mills, etc. The fabrics for foundries that we can find are the following:
- MARLAN PLUS 300P FABRIC: Offers high protection in foundries with a lightweight fabric weight. Its fiber blend provides thermal insulation and prevents molten metal from adhering, a common issue with synthetic fabrics. Additionally, it is soft, breathable, and comfortable, combining safety and comfort in demanding industrial applications.
- MARLAN 365 FABRIC: It is a permanent fire resistant fabric designed to protect against aluminum splashes, cryolite, and molten metals such as iron, steel, copper, or magnesium. It complies with European standards for fire and electric arc protection. Its fire resistant fibers prevent metals from adhering, preventing severe burns on the skin.
- ALUMINISED FABRIC PARATEX 460 ALP: Composed of para-aramid fibres with a herringbone weave, it provides flexibility and inherent fire resistance. Its powdered aluminium layer maintains the fabric’s adaptability and prevents cracks or delamination. It is resistant to abrasion, cutting, vibrations, and temperatures of up to 400°C. The aluminised side serves as a thermal shield against radiant and convective heat, and also protects against UV rays.
