FLAME RETARDANT NECK AND HEAD PROTECTOR FOR WELDING TASKS

The Texfire flame retardant hood provides direct protection against incandescent projections from welding or cutting tasks. This flame retardant garment is certified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) CAT II and has been specially developed for operators working in environments at risk of splashes or impacts from incandescent projections, as well as other sources of heat and flames, to prevent potential burns.

The Texfire Hood is made with MARKO inherent flame retardant fabric, and accessories such as sewing thread or fasteners are also flame retardant. Another feature of this protective garment is its ability to absorb sweat and facilitate evaporation, increasing breathability and providing an extra level of comfort to the welder.

It has a wide and open design in the neck area, with minimized seams for wearing under a protective helmet or welding mask. This hood is one size fits all (head circumference 55-65 cm) and adjusts perfectly thanks to its elastic self-adjusting system, making placement easy and providing an optimal level of safety and comfort. The flame retardant properties are intrinsic to the fibers and do not diminish with use or washing.

Ideal for welding, plumbing, metalworking, security forces, firefighters, rescue teams, and more. The Texfire hood is certified with the CE marking for European conformity, as CAT II PPE. It exceeds the standards of EN ISO 13688 - Protective clothing, general requirements – and EN ISO 11611 - Protective clothing for use in welding and related processes – with CLASS 1 result.
