FLOOR PROTECTIVE CARPET FOR OUTDOOR BBQ, BRAZIERS OR CAMPS.
This fire resistant carpet has been developed to protect the outdoor floors from sparks, coals, ashes or incandescent embers caused in barbecues, chimneys, or braziers. Tailored with Texfire’s WELS2 flame retardant fabric, it is composed of a fibreglass nucleus with a special silicone coating for high temperatures on both sides. The fire resistant features of the carpet are inherent, which means that they are permanent and remain unaltered neither with use or time nor in open-air weather conditions. In addition, it is finished in all its perimeter with a black bias tailored with fire resistant thread.
This carpet for BBQ is impermeable to liquids, oils and greases, it also protects the floor from splash marks and stains. Furthermore, the silicone coating also performs as an anti-flip finish. Texfire’s barbecue carpet can be used on both sides indistinctively. It is light and flexible, it can be stored easily rolled with its provided elastic band. It can be washed with a wet cloth.
In order to increase its lifespan and avoid heat transference, it is recommendable to remove any incandescent element that may fall on top of the carpet as soon as possible.
Texfire offers the rectangular fire retardant carpet in black and grey and in the following sizes:

The WELS2 fabric used in its construction obtained the EN ISO 13501-1 certification in 2023 - This classifies its fire behavior concerning construction products and building elements - achieving A2 s1 d0 ratings. Additionally, it's certified in 2020 under the UNE 23727 standard - Evaluating fire reaction of construction materials - with an M1 classification. It's also certified under the UNE 13773 regulation - Assessing the fire behavior of curtains and draperies - with a Class 1 rating.

USE RECOMMENDATIONS.
- Remove, as soon as possible, all incandescent fragments that may fall on top of the carpet.
- Roll it to store it.
- It can be washed using a wet cloth.
- Never use alcohol, flammable remains can stay over the carpet’s surface.
- Check the carpet’s status before every use.
- In case of any damage to the product that may compromise its proper performance, it is recommended to replace it, to ensure maximum safety and protection.
