MULTILAYER FABRIC SAMPLES

Texfire’s multilayer fabrics are characterised by being textile laminates, designed and manufactured to meet very specific technical or functional requirements. In most cases, the aim is to combine and seek synergies among the properties of each fabric, joining them together to create a single multilayer fabric. The following are some of the multilayer fabrics available:

• WELD SX welding fabric: This is a multilayer welding fabric with an E-Glass fibreglass core that provides mechanical resistance. It withstands continuous temperatures of 500°C and peaks of 1300°C. It has a silicone finish that repels sparks and a carbonised fleece that acts as a thermal barrier, reducing heat transfer.
