The welding blanket for plumbing protects the environment and isolates it from the welding heat produced by welding in confined spaces. It's flame retardant multilayer fabric resist temperature shocks up to 1.400ºC and it's great flexibility (only 4 mm. thickness) allows it to be used in small spaces. In addition this thermal blanket can be used on both sides. Ideal for welding in plumbing, gas, installations, air conditioners, workshops, etc.

| Mason G. el día 2019-01-16 | I used this with a mapp torch to sweat a copper fitting to a bathtub spout. I had to get up against the wall of a cultured marble bathtub to braze the fitting. I put this mat against the wall and heated the fitting frequently directing the flame onto the mat protecting the wall. When I finished I checked the bathtub wall for any heat damage, and not only was there no damage the wall was not even warm. This mat was well worth the price for what it saved me in potential heat damage. Highly recommended. |
