Flame retardant long sleeve, rounded neck and elastic cuffs t-shirts have been designed as a handle t-shirt to protect before sparks or incandescent splashes during welding operations or in other works where there is a risk of fire or high temperatures. Tailored with Marina Textil’s knitting fabric MARCO. This garment has the CE certificate as personal protective equipment (PPE) of CATII. Its composition is made of cotton and modacrylic, which confers a soft touch, some elasticity and a high degree of breathability to this t-shirt, providing users a light and comfortable sensation.
Flame retardant long sleeve t-shirts have been especially developed to be used as a first layer of flame retardant protection, always under the PPE required to each sector or activity. Its flame retardant features avoid the flame spread, which means that the fibers auto-extinguish themselves when taking down the ignition source. Designed and tailored to offer higher protection and comfort to workers exposed to sparks or incandescent materials like welders, firefighters and security forces, metal cutting operations, foundries, electricians...
MARKO fabric is certified as a CAT 2 PPE, with CE European marking. T-shirts have been tailored according to regulations EN ISO 13688 – Protection clothes. General requirements. And according regulation EN ISO 11612 – Protection clothes for industial workers exposed to heat and flames. It also meets OKEOTEX sustainability regulation.

USE RECOMMENDATIONS.
- Internal use, in no case it replaces the mandatory PPE on each application.
- Revise its status before each use.
- Use and maintenance instructions: Wash at maximum temperature of 60°C.
- Do not use bleaching products.
- Not in drying machine.
- Iron in a medium temperature (max. 150ºC).
