Fire resistant fiberglass coating fabric with silicone coating on both sides designed to withstand spashes of melted metal caused during welding and cutting jobs. WELS2 fabric withstands temepetures of 300ºC in ongoing work arriving up to 900ºC in peak workload (UNE 23727 - M1 and UNE 13773 Class 1 certified). The Silicone coating dsappears above 300ºC. It admits a horizontal use, in mid intensity welding process.

Welding coating fabric WELS2 is created to protect working areas where a fire risk or the chance to damage any object or surface exist. According to Leitat textile laboratory report, this fire resistant fabric offers protection againts the impact of small splashes of melted metal which gives it a CLASS 1 classification with a medium value of 37 drops according to ISO 9150:88 specifications.
