SILICA FABRIC · HIGH TEMPERATURES · VERMICULITE COATING

Silica flame retardant fabric, of mineral origin, it offers an excellent thermal performance, conserving mechanical resistance and structural integrity even when is subjected to high temperatures. It is presented with a vermiculite chemical treatment to enhance its dimensional stability , its resistance against chemical agents and increase the resistance to abrasion and tearing. SILICE 700V fabric resists temperatures of 950ºC in continuous work arriving to withstand temperatures yp to 1300ºC in peak workloads.

This fabric is used as a thermal blanket, for processes of controlled cooling down of pieces of complex welds. There are many the industries that use this type of fabrics, due to its features:

  • Excellent thermal resistance
  • Good resistant to abrasion, in comparison to other silica fabrics
  • Permanent flame resistant, it does not spread the flame.
  • Great useful life, thanks to its Vermiculite treatment.
